NOW OPEN
- Dundas and Carlaw, a new cafe and wine bar, is now open at 1173 Dundas St. East.
- Sparrow Restaurant is now open at 2197 Bloor St. West in the spot formerly occupied by Dr. Generosity.
- O Resto Lounge is now open at 7 King St. East, serving up diner standards for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Smoque N' Bones, a new BBQ joint, opens at 869 Queen St. West on Monday (May 5).

- Temaki Express, a new sushi joint, is slated to open at 269 Danforth Ave.
- Yam Chops, a vegetarian butcher (huh?) and fine foods store, is opening this summer at 705 College St.
CLOSED
- Earth Rosedale (1055 Yonge St.) is set to close, with the last dinner service planned for May 11. [The Grid]
- Bikkuri Japanese Restaurant at 404 College St. is closed and the location is already being gutted.
- Espresso Mi Vida at 392 Pacific Ave. has closed, and will soon become a banh mi sandwich shop.
OTHER NEWS
- Barrio Coreano (642 Bloor St.) now does lunch from Tuesdays to Sundays, starting at noon.
